The Editor-in-Chief assigns each manuscript submitted to the Journal to an appropriate Editor-in-duty, which is responsible for the initial evaluation of its content and quality.

If the submitted manuscript meets the standards of the Journal, the Editor-in-duty forwards the manuscripts to at least two reviewers, which are considered experts in the field.

The reviewing process remains blinded for both authors and reviewers. The reviewers provide their comments through confidential communications to both Editor and the authors. At a next step, the Editor-in-duty, in cooperation with the Editor-in-Chief, evaluate the manuscript considering the reviewers’ comments and decide to either accept, or return for resubmission after revision, or reject the submitted manuscript.
